I remember this day as if it was yesterday. The road trip up to the cold misty woods, the distinct smell of ocean water in my hair still as long as the trees beneath me and my sunburnt legs dripping witch hazel. The rising temperatures that would go down for a while then rise back up to the very tip of the mountain. It was exciting and breathtaking and made me feel very much alive.
