Empties - AUGUST 2015

BEAUTY

I thought i would do an empties post on the products i have used up. There were a couple of products i forgot to keep for this post and ended up throwing those but hopefully these are enough products to review incase somebody out there is thinking of buying these products and trying them out yourselves. I personally like these posts more since you get the whole idea of what a product does, since it's not a haul or a first impressions but using the product up! So without further adieu..

Bareminerals Faux Tan Body - This fake tan is really good for those who wants to get into fake tans and have never used one. It's ok and not too obvious of a tan. I think it would work for those with pale to light/medium skin tones.. but if you already have medium/olive skin tone, i dont think you need this one. I just put a bit on my tanning mit from St Tropez and rub it on my exfoliated skin. I then sleep on it and wash it off the next day. It leaves a nice but not intense golden glow to the skin. I tried using it twice on a row and i felt like it made my tan a tad bit orange. I think this is especially nice during the winter if you're going out and showing a bit of skin and want to look tanned and glowing without looking obviously fake tanned.

Burts Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser - Ahhh i just love this cleanser! it doesn't do a lot but it's exactly why i really like it. This cream cleaser with clary sage is really nice and moisturizing but not greasy. It leaves a nice healthy feeling to the skin even if your skin doesn't look like it. Again, with this one, i think would be really nice for winter but i have been using it this summer and i think it was just fine. But then again, i do have dry combination skin. It didn't break me out either which is a plus. It smells kind of floral and fresh but not too overpowering which is nice.

Björn Axén Sensitive Scalp Organic Conditioner - with aloe vera and lime, i really wanted to love this one but it just did nothing to my hair but make it smell nice and silky. I guess that's a good thing if you're looking for that purpose of your shampoo but i was looking for a nice organic conditioner that would make my hair do those things but definitely condition it as well, since it is a conditioner.. and it's so convinient for me to buy this one where i live.. but meh.. if someone gave it to me, i would use it, it's not bad. I just would not buy again.

Björn Axén Repair Deep Conditioner - with organic argan oil sea lavender & proteins for nourishment shine and strength. A deep conditioner is a must in my hair regimen. I have really frizzy hair that has weird fly aways and even though nothing i've tried (yet) has made that problem of mine go away, this deep conditioner is keeping my hair from going bananas. It makes my hair really soft and the fly aways not too obvious although its still a bit noticeable. Which is why i probably will try other products, but i definitely would recommend this to people with normal to dry hair like me but just wants nice soft hair!

Weleda Skin Food - for dry and rough skin. Weleda is a brand i really like when it comes to body products. I have loved their Creamy Body Wash in citrus, sea buckthorn and lavender and they all smelt nice and lathered really well as well as giving my skin the moisture it needs. But after seeing a lot of reviews online about skin food i was really intrigued and tried it out in a store. The first thing i noticed was the nice fresh smell of something citrusy. It reminded me of a calamondin plant we had in our garden when i was a kid. So i rubbed it on my skin and walked around for a bit and really liked the moisturizing but non greasy formula. But i have very dry skin now and i would be needing a product more towards the greasy formula. Although this product is suggested for those with rough or dry skin, it didn't really make my skin moisturized enough.

Une Eyes Only Volume Mascara - I bought this mascara in black and was really surprised at how good this mascara was. It's my second organic mascara i have yet to use all up. I dont even have any complaints with this product. It does what it promises and it's better than any other mascaras i have ever tried (including drugstore ones like loreal telescopic). It's just beautiful and i highly recommend it. A side note though, when i went to repurchase it, i accidentally bought a different une mascara called une 3 in 1 mascara but so far i have been liking that one as well. It's more towards the separating type of mascara rather than volumizing but i am loving it as well! Whatever UNE is doing, keep doing it!

Loreal Brow Artist Plumper - I already have a backup of this brow gel. It's great, makes my brows look thicker, has fibres and it stays in place. I have it in medium/dark and it has a small adorable brow spoolie similar to that of benefit gimme brow (but for less money) which is amazing. It doesn't have parabens. I recommend this to everybody! I l like it a lot!
